Marine TOYS FOR TOTS Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fund raising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve TOYS FOR TOTS Program. The Foundation was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps and provides support in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, who directs the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve TOYS FOR TOTS Program. The Foundation has supported TOYS FOR TOTS since 1991.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted

In being consistent with the TOYS FOR TOTS Foundation, it is the mission of our local TOYS FOR TOTS Site to collect TOYS for the needy children of Davie County that would not otherwise have a Christmas. This is our fifth year after joining forces with the National Foundation in collecting and distributing TOYS for Davie County. Last year, 2011, the TOYS FOR TOTS program nationally collected over 16.7 million new TOYS for 7.2 million less fortunate children in our country. Your Marine Corps League, Local & National Sponsors and along with our Davie County Community Citizens, provided for 1,683 children with over 4,694 TOYS in our local 2011 campaign. Thank you for this auspicious success and we, without a doubt know the children thank you also.
